Tampa, Florida: USL Player Showcase:
United Soccer League created the USL Player Showcase as a way to further the careers and Playing opportunities of amateur athletes in the PDL (Premier Development League) and opened up a new era in North American Club Development. The inaugural Player Showcase presented by Umbro has been upgrated to accomodate what has grown into an influential event. World-renowned clubs will meet the best amateur players North America has to offer on the event's upgrated facilities at Ed Radice Soccer Complex in Northwest Tampa. The opening days of the first-time event was well-received by all English Premier League, Major League Soccer and USL First and Second Division with over 50 coaches and scouts in attendance.


Three of CDS Soccer players at the Showcase, Rogerio Oliveira, Freddy Moojen and Mateus dos Anjos, all of Brazilian nationality alongside Howard Goldberg.

CDS Soccer and Howard Goldberg is proud to announce the signing of Freddy Moojen of Clemson Unversity. Freddy is orginally from Brazil and he has has been selected by Major League Soccer for the annual Adidas combine taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Jan 5,-8, 2007.This event allows the best 58 players in the United States to show their skills to the coaching staffs from all 13 MLS teams. Freddy was the most valuable player of the PDL 2006 season, he led the nation with 18 goals in 15 games. He has had various articles written about him: Soccer.com states "he can play at this D1 professional level". Currently there is interest from aboard for Freds services. CDS Soccer is proud to represent this young dynamic athlete,

Carlos De Sousa and Howard Goldberg were invited by Major League Soccer to attend the MLS Cup game in Frisco, Texas. The Houston Dynamo beat the New England Revolution 4-3 on penalty kicks, after a 1-1 draw at the end of overtime.CDS Soccer was proud to have been represented with Oka Arsene who was a member of the New England Revolution.

CDS Soccer Inc. and Howard Goldberg are proud to announce that the United Soccer League has accepted 16 players represented by CDS Soccer to attend the 2006 Mens Player showcase presented by Umbro. This event will debut Dec 17th thru the 20th in Tampa Bay, Florida. After reviewing 325 applications the United Soccer League trimmed the list down to the most qualified. USLhas received interest from clubs in both Europe and North America. MLS and USLwill have all coaches there to review players, there will also be representatives from the English Premier League including Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Fulham. "This will be a great event to showcase the talented players that we represent and we are sure we will get significant interest with our players that will result in professional contracts", said Howard Goldberg of CDS Soccer North America.

CDS Soccer has added to the list of Players and signed representation agreements with several North American players, which include: Noah Braun (American/Canadian), Dave Leung (Jamaican), Wilmer Barrera (Honduras), Roland Denis (Haiti), Aron Hyde, Hector Zapata (Honduras) and Dave Bolow. Other players that had already signed with CDS Soccer are Lars Lyssand, Landy Mattison, Jason Cunliff, Daniel Smith and Brian Lux. José Ferraz has a PRO UEFA Coaching License and he is the author of many articles about football for magazines and newspapers and the author of many books related to Coaching and Practical Training.

Andrew Weber




Andrew Weber won his 1st title in his 1st USL season. The Montreal Impact finished 1st Place overall in the regular season and awaits now the other semi-finalist of the Season's play-offs. Andrew started in 14 of the 28 games this season and posted an impressive record: 8 wins, 1 loss and 5 ties, having played 1250 minutes. His performance was a great contribution to the Team's success this season.

scored his 1st Turkish Superleague goal in a 2-1 win away to Antalyaspor in his first game of the 2006/2007 season. This was a very important goal since it was the winning goal and helped Sivasspor win their 1st game after 3 rounds of play. Sivasspor sits now in 12th place in the Superleague with 4 points (1 win; 1 tie and 1 loss).

Brazilian Coach, Luiz Antonio presently employed with the Brazilian National Association as part of the coaching staff of the Olympic and U-20 Brazil national teams, is travelling this week to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates where he will sign a 1 year contract with the U-20 team of Al-Wahda Sports Club and work with Al Wahda's youth development program. CDS Soccer negotiated his contract and he will be joining recently signed U-17 Brazilian Coach Luciano Soares.

This will be the first time CDS Soccer has negotiated a player to the Australian football/soccer market.
