Coach SERGIO FARIAS of the Pohang Steelers from
South Korea and Al Ahli Sports Club, from
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Coach Sergio Farias won the Korean League and
the Best Coach of the Year Award in Korea in
2007, the Korean FA Cup in 2008, the Korean
League Cup and the Asian Club Champions League
in 2009.
Most recently he obtained the 3rd position in
the FIFA Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Sergio Farias signed until the end of the
2010/2011 season.

Champion U-17 in 1995, 1996, U-19 in 1994 and
1999, (2 as Head Coach - European Champion U-17
in 2000 and in 2003); was condecorated by the
Portuguese Gouvernment with 2 medals of Sport
Merit (1997, 2004), 1 medal of Honor for Sport
Merit (1999) and 1 colar of
Honor for Sport Merit (2003). With senior teams
as Head Coach he never lost a match in 17
disputed. His last team coach in 2009 was
Portugal U-20 and in 12 matches he won 10 and

Coach Edgar Borges
spent 10 years with the Portuguese Federation,
coming from the youth department of FC Porto,
he coaches Portugal U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-19,
participating in several European Championships
and winning several titles. From 2004 and 2008
he also worked with Portugal First Team,
assisting Coach Luis Filipe Scolari in observing

EDNILSON.
Ednilson, born in former african portuguese
colony Guine Bissau, started his youth career at
Boavista FC moving at young age to Italy's top
club AS Roma where he stayed 2 years. In
2000/2001 he moved back to Portugal's top club
SL Benfica where he signed a 5 year contract.
During that period he spent 1 season on loan to
Vitoria Guimaraes and Gil Vicente, before moving
to Greek side OFI Creta. After 2 years in
Greece, Partizan Belgrade of Serbia was his next
team. In Serbia EDNILSON won the League and the
Serbian Cup.
EDNILSON played also for
- Portugal National Team U-16 (15 caps) and
Champion in Austria,
- Portugal National Team U-18 (17 caps) European
Championship in Cyprus;
- Portugal National Team U-20 (22 caps) finalist
of Toulon Tournament in France and winner of the

Sean was playing with Osvaldo Cruz, a team from
Brazil.

CDS Soccer has concluded the signing of
Haitian
international forward LEONEL ST-PREUX with the
Minnesota Thunder from the USL.
Saint-Preux who signed a two year contract,
played for his native Haitian National Team
during qualifying for both the Olympics and the
World Cup. His most memorable moment for the
Haitian National team came when he scored a 40
yard goal against Canada in a 2-1 win during
Olympic qualifying. In February of this year, he
played in a preseason game with the New York Red
Bulls, during which he scored 2 unassisted goals
against the Kansas City Wizards in a 4-4 tie.
“Leonel is an attacking forward who likes to
play with his back to the goal, but also loves
to take players on from the front as well,” said
Thunder Head Coach Donny Gramenz. “Leonel has a
tremendous work ethic and plays with great pace.
He is an exciting addition to our team.”

JEAN PHILIPPE PEGUERO.
After playing in Don Brosco FC in his native
country, Peguero moved to the Major League
Soccer, where he played for different
clubs (Colorado Rapids and the New York Red
Bulls) before being transferred to Swedish 1st
Division side, Brondby IF.
Last year he played 5 games on loan to the San
Jose Earthquakes.

game with the Professional team in the
Portuguese Carlsberg Cup against Vitoria de
Setubal.
DIOGO came in the game in the 73rd minute and
made an excellent cross in the 78th minute,

recorded his first assist with the Pros...and
